Our ABA Department is Growing! Come join an amazing team! The SLC’s ABA Department is looking for behavior technicians to help us execute customized treatment plans that provide children and adolescents with a more positive quality of life.
Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth by providing 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting. Individual will implement skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and work closely with him or her to monitor and update plans as needed
Providing professional and appropriate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
Facilitating the teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
Assisting supervisor in the coaching and education of caregivers
Following behavior reduction plans to reduce challenging behaviors and teach appropriate replacement behaviors
Tracking client progress and program data in an accurate and timely manner
Understanding and adhering to Company Policy and Procedures, including observing confidentiality and safeguards of all patient-related information
Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred, Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School diploma required. (A strong candidate without certification but with two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations will be considered. )
A Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and insurance required.
Must pass required background checks.
Hours require flexibility with client scheduling. Position is PT with potential for growth to FT.
Candidate should demonstrate strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
